Cats require quality sources of protein in their diet, as it is used for a multitude of bodily functions and is their primary source of energy. This 100% meat cat food is beef heart, kidney and liver. In our beef formula is a complete protein, meaning it contains all 11 of the essential amino acids cats need to consume in their diet for optimal health. One of these in particular is taurine, which is critical for healthy digestion, vision and immunity. Beef offal (heart, kidney and liver) are also fantastic sources of riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, copper, selenium and iron, as well as being great sources of protein. These are all essential nutrients which contribute to the overall health of cats, including, heart, skin, bone, blood, digestive, oral and immune system health.
